My Weekend Wrant | Transitioning to a new camera - The struggle is real!

"Change is hard at the beginning. Messy in the middle. But gorgeous at the end." - Robin Sherma

I agree 100% and am in sync with this quote.
This month, I have switched to a new camera to use for my Instagram posts and Blog posts. And yes, "change" is indeed hard at first, super messy in the middle process, yet the gorgeous end result, I prayerfully hope and want to achieve the soonest!

TRAVEL | Summerfun in Lake Tahoe Ca and travel tips

Yay! A 4-day-weekend is a mini vacation for me and hubby dear!
We decided to escape the Valley heat and air by going to Lake Tahoe for a day, last July 4th weekend.

Living, working and staying in the city day after day weaken us not just physically but mentally.
So, what's a better way to re-energize ourselves but to spend a nice weather day in nature right?!

FOODTRIP | My Milk Tea and Boba Addiction

Who doesn't know boba milk tea drink nowadays? Both young and old from different cultures around the world are now fans of this addicting asian-of-origin drink!

What is boba? What is milk tea?

Milk tea is simply a drink made of 2 main ingredients: "milk and flavored tea".
Boba is a tapioca peal having a soft, chewy consistency similar to that of a gummy candy.

Combine milk tea and boba and you'll have the famous Boba Milk Tea drink (also called Bubble Milk Tea)!

It is said that this drink has been invented in Taichung Taiwan in the 1980's. Which then became popular in most parts of East and Southeast Asia during the 1990's. And is later well received by global consumers from Canada and the USA, specifically in areas with high asian demographics.
Also, from my recent trips to Europe, it is also well accepted and loved in that part of the world now.

Hence, it is easy to find cafes/shops that are entirely devoted to boba milk teas nowadays.
Asian and even non-asian restaurants are serving this drink as part of their menu due to its known popularity with the public.

I've been to many of this cafes/restaurants and tried a variety of boba milk teas. But since 2015, I've found my favorite cafe serving a variety of fun, flavored and fresh boba milk teas - T4 you! which I will be talking about today.

#KoreanSkincareSeries: Oh my Acne battle - Part 1 | Sheet Mask & Blemish Cream

"Acne" - oh how I dislike the word!

Facts about Acne: It's estimated to affect 9.4% of the global population. 95% of all people will experience acne at some point in their lives.
Infact, in the US alone,  nearly 50 million Americans suffers from acne. 95% of acne sufferers believe that there is a cure for acne and only 4% actually know that acne can never be cured but can be treated effectively!

After years of being a part of that 96% believers, I've finally well realized and proven myself that it's more realistic to be part of that 4% group instead.
Having spent so much time, finance, and efforts on harsh acne products and dermatology procedures, wishfully thinking that something will work eventually, I finally understood & convinced myself of this saying by Sun Tzu:
"if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss....
if you know yourself but not your opponent, you may win or may lose...
if you know neither yourself and your enemy, you will always endanger yourself..."

This perfectly describe the battle with acne.. LOL
